Returns & Shipping

t The Velvet Angel Boutique, we want you to love every item you purchase! If something isn't quite right, we're here to make the returns or exchange process as smooth as possible. 

In effort to improve your returns experience, we have moved to a much simpler process for our customers. Starting January 1st, 2026, we've moved self-returns to within customer accounts.

You'll simply log into your account, locate your order, and initiate any returns or exchanges needed! Return request will be approved if eligible within 2 business days. Same rules apply below.

Store Credit & Exchange Options:

  • Store Credit or Exchange: Initiate and mail your return within 14 days of delivery. 
  • Approved exchanges will be shipped 5-7 business days after we receive your order.
  • Please place packing slip inside package when applicable

*Please note items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached.

* Store credit expires after 24 months.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Items marked FINAL SALE
  • Jewelry & Accessories
  • Intimates, bras, camisoles, slips, socks, and hats
  • Holiday themed items
  • Health & Beauty items
  • Orders using discount codes at or over 30% sitewide

Shoes must be returned in their original box or bag with a protective shipping box.

We charge a 10% restocking fee for returns. 

We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of an additional $10 per item for high return rates within a year. 

How do I return my merchandise?

  1. Simply log into your account, find your order, and begin the process of which item(s) you are looking to return or exchange. 
  2. Once your return or exchange is approved (within 48 hours), you will receive a return shipping label via email.
  3. If wanting to exchange, add the item you're wanting to exchange with the new size in the NOTES field.
  4. Place item(s) in a shipping safe box or polybag with original invoice included.
  5. Place the shipping label on the package and send your item back to us!

Processing Time:

  • Refunds, Exchanges & Store Credit: Processed within 5-10 days after being delivered to our warehouse
  • Emails are generated and sent once your return is initiated 
  • Emails are sent when your order was received by us & it is processed

If you choose to ship back your return independently, processing may take 5-10 days after we receive your return. Please retain your tracking information. 

Damaged or Defective Items:

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 3 days of delivery at amber@thevelvetangel.com. We'll arrange for a replacement ASAP, or a refund if the item is unavailable.
